What's for Breakfast?

I made pastry pop-tarts for brunch on Mother's Day last week. I found a recipe from The Novice Chef Blog a while back and really liked the idea of making pop-tarts at home, but never got around to actually testing it out. Well, last week I finally did and I regret not doing it sooner! It didn't take long at all to prep them and it took even less time to bake them. I changed the recipe a little bit by using puff pastry instead of pie crust and only put one flavor inside instead of two. Well... after I made them I found a brand new recipe on A Beautiful Mess that was pretty much exactly the way I did it! I included both recipes, so you can choose which one you like better :)
